Dit studieboek is een aanrader voor alle mensen/studenten die de basis van accounting information systems and internal control procedures tot zich moeten/willen nemen. Het boek volgt een logische structuur. Het eerste gedeelte gaat over de foundations of internal control; wat houdt het in, wat zijn de relaties tussen de verschillende begrippen en hoe worden de procedures tegenwoordig in de praktijk geïmplementeerd. Een uitstapje wordt gemaakt naar softwarematige internal control implementaties.
Vervolgens worden de belangrijkste processen binnen een bedrijf besproken en welke internal control procedures hierin aanwezig dienen te zijn. In het laatste deel komen een aantal specifieke organisaties aan bod.
In het begin vond ik het boek vrij lastig te lezen, maar dit went na een paar hoofdstukken.
Tevens stamt het boek uit 2009, ze spreken hier nog wel eens over floppy disks en cd-roms, wat vrij achterhaalt is. Toch is het boek nog steeds een goed hulpmiddel voor de praktijk anno 2016.Vond je dit een nuttige review?00 -
