In this Chronicle, the vampire and "Child of the Millenia" Marius (known from the previous chronicles) shares his story. Lestat doesn't play a part in this Chronicle, but is only mentioned when Marius speaks about his experiences with him. Nonetheless a great book if you like Anne Rice's Chronicles
