During my education to a teacher-diploma in the '70 most attention was paid only to Freud. Reading for the first time this kind of introduction to the work of Jung, written by himself and 5 assistants, I really discovered a new world: how the good understanding of our unconsciousness - with interpretation of dreams - can bring us up to integrate ourselves in a more complete way; how myths and symbols have their archetypical and/or universal meaning; how figurative art can represent the hidden part of human being.

Vanuit mijn opleiding op de pedagogische akademie - voor 1972 - werd de aandacht meer op Freud gericht, maar dit boek is echt een goede inleiding tot Jung, die ook toendertijd best in beschouwing genomen had kunnen worden. Erg interessante, beknopte uitleg over de betekenis van ons onbewuste en hoe zich dit alom manifesteert. Een goede oefeing voor eenieder op goede en juiste wijze de betekenis van eigen dromen te interpreteren en zo als mens 'kompleter' te worden. De archetypische symbolen en de band tussen kunst en onbewuste zijn verlichtend en kan men verder elders verdiepen.
