Naomi Klein writes in this book the legacy of the 21st century prison: The streets. Divided in 4 chapters; No Space, No Choice, No Jobs, No Logo, this book tackles down the new super-powers of modern society: the coorporations. Filled with revolting facts, Naomi Klein narrates the facts behind the facts, leaving me with a disqueitening feeling and a dipossition to being more aware of my choices and the topics of my conversations. This is a disgusting story about the even more disgusting neo-liberal atitude and policy spread world around. I found the chapter 'No Jobs' specially good. If you are not 'a reader' but still are curious to know how companies like Nike and Starbucks succeed in making a revenue of millions per year, try reading this chapter (or the whole book, if you are ' a reader') Now im up to her new book, recently released, The Schock Doctrine. A review of that book will follow here.

Wie bang is voor big brother (1984 van Orwell, niet die TV-soap van urin) moet dit boek beslist lezen, de angst voor de dictatuur van de staat in ongegrond. De dictatuur van Het Merk is er al. Je draagt meteen geen merkkleding meer en koopt weer spontaan je brood bij de bakker op de hoek
