Begin in de twintig was ik toen MTV Most Wanted uitgezonden werd. Was direct een grote fan van Ray Cokes, zijn grappen, z'n smile en al wat erbij kwam kijken. Heb zelfs een paar interessante muziekgroepen ontdekt.
Fast forward tot heden en het boek, dat duidelijk op deze MTV periode steunt, heb ik in enkele dagen uitgelezen. Verslonden eigenlijk. Ik ben geen fervente lezer, of beter gezegd ik lees eigenlijk nooit boeken. Maar deze, dit kon ik gewoon niet dicht laten liggen op tafel.
Een vlotte pen heeft die Ray wel. Het boek leest zeer gemakkelijk en de wijze waarop alles verteld wordt, laat je meegenieten wat hij zo allemaal meegemaakt heeft.
Een aanrader.
