Ron Hubbard created and endowed the Writers of the Future Contest “as a means for new and budding writers to have a chance for their creative efforts to be seen and acknowledged.” Since that time, the Contest has been a phenomenal success, inspiring a generation of new writers who have now become some of the most recognized and influential voices in the fields of science fiction and fantasy.
