Love Never Was the Issue- Episode Three: The Heart of the Matter is a motion picture that took me 10 years to make. I wrote the book, Behind The Movie in an attempt to reconcile, in my own mind, the issues I had to deal with to get the movie made.
Independent moving making is filled with challenges including: finding the right talent; securing shooting locations; scheduling production times; modifying the script on the fly; and securing financing. It requires an indelible faith and unwavering determination, especially when progress is thwarted by circumstances you cannot control.
Along the journey, I made some good decisions and I made some not-so-good decisions, but in the end, the movie has more good scenes than not-so-good scenes; and as a movie maker, that's what you shoot for.
