In addition to creating the Rim Defense Force – the RDF – Jake could only succeed if he could form an alliance with the ruthless matriarchy known as the Aeolian Empire, 580 light years in the opposite direction.
By 2185 – 64 years after Pandora gave her warning to Earth – the RDF had grown to be a powerful space navy – but not yet strong enough to take on the Bat Empire.
As the Bats move ever closer to humanity, Jake knows that only through an alliance with the Aeolian Empire is there hope for Earth and the RDF. Doing everything possible to prepare for the coming war, Jake has one ace in the hole. Will it be enough?
