A traveler who moves with the changing of seasons and the changing of moods. Born in America to German immigrant parents. The Tales of Nesterhoffen shows the romantic heart and philosophical soul of the author. The clever use of political satire at the start resembles Jonathan Swift's world of Lilliput in Gulliver's Travels, where two kings were ready to go to war over which end of an egg to break.
