Magistral et original avec une touche matriarcale.
La trilogie Wounded Kingdom de cet écrivain était phénoménale. Lorsque le premier tome de cette nouvelle série est sorti, j'ai plongé avec impatience, mais malheureusement je le trouve décevant. Le personnage principal est décevant et absolument inintéressant. Il n'est ni intelligent ni fort et n'a rien de spécial. Toutes sortes de nouveaux concepts et mots sont introduits à un rythme rapide en ce qui concerne ce monde pirate, où il n'est pas toujours clair de ce que l'on veut dire. Cela ne m'intéressait pas et j'ai arrêté au bout de quelques heures.
