கல்யாண தினத்திலிருந்து தொடங்கியே, அந்தப் பெண்ணின் வாழ்க்கையில் கணவனால் ஒரு சுகமும் இல்லை. சாமியார்களின் பின்னால் பைத்தியமாய் அலையும் ஒரு குணம் அவனுக்கு. குழந்தைக்கு நோய் படுத்துகையில், அவனைத் தேடிக் கண்டுபிடித்துக் கொண்டுவருமாறு அவன் அலுவலகலத்திருந்து இவள் மேல் அழுத்தம் கொடுக்கிறார்கள். ஊரில் வந்து தங்கியிருக்கும் பெரிய மடாதிபதியான துறவியை போய் நேரில் எதிர்கொள்கிறாள் இவள். தீர்வு ஏதேனும் கிடைத்ததா? Right from the day of marriage, nothing went right for this woman. Her husband was obsessed with running behind holy men and sannyasins. With her child lying in fever, she was getting pressure from her husband's office to locate him and bring him back. She decides to meet the Sannyasin and the head of a famous Mutt who was presently camping in her city. Did she get any solution to her woes?
