The 18th birthday of a young girl from Plymouth, Massachusetts, in 1970, at the height of the free love and hippie movement, starts a journey that will transport her back 300 years to the founding of America. Thrown into the world of a sixteen-year-old descendant of the original Puritan Mayflower settlers in Plimouth in the late sixteen hundreds is daunting, but young Mark Browne is up to the task. Then what Mark believes to be a chance encounter in a forest following a failed fishing trip. transforms his life, his family, and all those in his community.
