From time to time the mission of the church needs to be reformulated. With the rise of political and liberation theologies, this may be one of those times. After examining the classical missiology debate between William Ernest Hocking and Hendrik Kraemer. three political and liberation theologians are studied to discover how their theologies might affect a reformulation of the mission of the Christian church.
