Dit boek heb ik gekocht in het kader van mijn opleiding en is prima bevallen. Zoals de titel al zegt is het doel om publieke organisaties te begrijpen en managen en dat is (o.a.) met dit boek goed gelukt. Het is helder geschreven en daardoor goed te volgen. De NPM ontwikkeling had wellicht iets uitgebreider aan bod mogen komen, maar verder niets aan te merken op dit boek.
