Het boek Corporate Venturing (Van Peteghem & Mohout) is een absolute inspiratie om te lezen, helemaal als je bekend bent met de uitdagingen van gevestigde bedrijven die zelf pogen te innoveren. (Dan adviseer ik het ook te lezen in combinatie met Reinventing Organizations (Frédéric Laloux) en The Day after Tomorrow (Peter Hinssen)). Corporate Venturing is goed geschreven en het is logisch opgebouwd in drie secties: Why, How & What. Het verduidelijkt het concept van innovatie en groei d.m.v. samenwerking, en toont daarmee direct aan waarom ‘traditionele’ benaderingen niet toekomstbestendig zijn. Elke sectie is praktisch en pragmatisch – je kan het je allemaal meteen voorstellen! Aan het eind van elke sectie is een handige samenvatting opgenomen: ‘What you need to remember’. Het tweede deel van de ‘What’ sectie is lastiger te lezen, maar het is een solide naslag wanneer je aan de gang wilt met implementatie van een legal framework.
