Ecogeotown Programma Pilota a Pescara / a Pilot Program in Pescara

Re-introducing the issue of sustainability today, this publication represents a contribution to the theme of urban design and its possible evolution on the part to sustainability- sensitive urban design, to which we must aspire in order to bring about suitable acceptance of the challenges posed to architecture and urban design by sustainable development. This volume particularly illustrates the experience of a workshop applied to a peripheral area of the Italian city of Pescara, promoted by the Pescara Faculty of Architecture and the Pescara Municipal and Provincial Governments, and the Abruzzo Regional Government. Participants in the workshop included professors and students from different Italian and European schools of architecture.
