    De verhalen van dr. Scarpetta zijn al jaren favoriet. Ik heb dan ook alle engelstalige delen.
    Wat ik dit keer minder vond, is dat er personages uit het verre verleden erbij komen, die niet eerder voorkwamen, hetgeen verwarrend leest. Daarnaast speelt het hele verhaal zich af binnen 24 uur en dat is vermoeiend lezen.
