Talent and Other Stories

The selection of stories in this book represents Chekhov's early work which perhaps is not as well known as some of his plays. The stories nevertheless possess unique potency and relevance to our modern lives just as they did back in 19th century Russia when they first appeared in various Russian publications. These stories were first released as audio book on CD and are also available for download at the time of publication of this edition. The audio version is a dramatization which received a lot of attention from professional critics and general public. This dramatization aimed at delivery of different, more authentic read with use of Russian accent in English and pronunciation of Russian names in Russian (or as close to original as possible). This book is part of the series of Chekhov Stories.
