ENG: Although written a while ago, very actual. This book brought me some essential insights in my spiritual development. And most refreshing was how it's written in Roman-style which was a nice variation between my books on personal development. Several years ago I read it in one flow, which never happens with me and now I'm happy to have given another to my wife. NL: Hoewel al even geleden geschreven, heel actueel. Dit boek boodt me enkele essentiële inzichten in mijn spirituele ontwikkeling. En verfrissend was vooral dat het is geschreven in roman-stijl wat me beviel tussen mijn andere persoonlijke ontwikkelingsboeken. Enkele jaren geleden las ik het in één ruk uit, wat me nooit gebeurt en ben nu blij het cadeau te hebben gegeven aan mijn vrouw.

Voorspelbaar plot
slechte opbouw

Het verhaal is heel zwak. Er zit geen opbouw in. Op de eerste pagina's worden er diverse zeer wonderlijke feiten gedropt bij de hoofdpersoon door iemand die die al jaren niet gezien heeft en hij slikt alles voor zoete koek. Omdat deze hoofdpersoon nog niet of nauwelijks geïntroduceerd is, vraag je je als lezer echt af waarom. Maar meer nog dan 'waarom?' dacht ik, deze schrijver heeft geen idee hoe je een verhaal moet vertellen. Ik ben dan ook na een paar bladzijdes afgehaakt. Misschien dat het heel mooi wordt, maar gezien de manier waarop de schrijver concepten keihard uit het niets voor je voeten gooit, vrees ik dat het niet echt een spirituele ontdekkingsreis is, maar meer iemand die je vertelt hoe het zit.
