En voor het huidige (visieloze) EU-leiderschap is dit boek een mustread én standaardwerk voor op het nachtkastje van EU-leiders met slapeloze nachten. Als u dit prachtige boek over de opkomst van Eurazië uit hebt kunt u, als aanvulling en antwoord, vrijwel meteen ook beginnen aan 'Red Europa' van Ulrike Guerot. Zij geeft een uitstekend antwoord op de razendsnelle ontwikkelingen in Eurazie: de stichting van de Republiek Europa. Beide boeken zijn zeer lezenswaardig, bieden scherpe analyses en zijn vaardig geschreven door insiders met visie, een zeldzame combinatie.
