Professor John Hattie is sinds maart 2011 directeur van Melbourne Education Research Institute van de Universiteit van Melbourne. Hij is tevens bijzonder hoogleraar Onderwijs aan de Universiteit van Auckland. Hattie is de senior adviseur voor het Leren Zichtbaar Maken programma voor scholen.
