For several years Andrea Richardson grew up in a home ruled by alcohol, abuse and selfishness. There was some good times but those were far and in between. From the age of twelve, Andrea only remembered hurt and low self-esteem. Many times she wished she could die. This is the story of her struggles throughout her life. A bad first marriage made Andrea unhappier than ever. One sunny day in August, Andrea looked across the fields of her Kentucky home and saw a figure of a man that took her breath away. With God's help and the Christian influence and prayer of two of her grandmothers, Andrea survives to overcome her past hurts, to overcome her damaged self-esteem, and finally she is able to reach the top of her ''mountain.''
