Meanwhile, the Winters family and the people of Summit Ridge provide shelter for those escaping the devastation of the coastlines and seek God's guidance regarding their role in the restoration of 'One Nation Under God'. When President Charles Daniels calls upon the nation to pray for a healing rain to cleanse their land of the demonic forces and set the nation free, they have no idea what they are in for.
