Fireball Kiss is a page turner with well developed characters and a fast moving plot. It's the type of book you’ll read and re-read for the sheer pleasure of reliving your favorite scenes. Freddy was gone and Sheila had gotten a boyfriend. Actually it had happened the other way around but what’s the difference. Sheila is Freddy’s new wife and Freddy is the principal owner of a successful liquor distribution business in Miami Florida. There’s only one problem though his partner Jimmy does not like working for his younger brother and enlists a local gangster, Sheila’s old employer, to help him muscle his brother out. Law and D’Andre, Miami police detectives, are assigned the missing persons case. Law is getting a divorce and is vulnerable to Sheila’s charms but what if she’s had something to do with her husband’s disappearance? That would be a moral dilemma for Law but who was he kidding, when did he ever have morals when it came to women? If muscle means murder and the local gangster doesn't take on partners then Jimmy could also be in a world of trouble. Law and D’Andre track down suspects and the ensuing fisticuffs, gun play and sexual encounters expose lies and loyalties in Freddy and Sheila’s families, the Miami underworld and the city’s police department.
