‘Hong Kong Marina (Daughter of the GRU)’ is a collection of photographs taken by JCMjr. during and after his attendance at the ‘Asian Contemporary Art Show 2014’ in Hong Kong as one of the two founders, curators, spokes persons and exhibiting artist with the New York City, USA and Moscow, Russia international artists coop-collective ‘Studio 26 / Studio 26 Gallery’ founded by JCMjr. and Marina Reiter at 49 Bogart Street #26 in Bushwick, Brooklyn, New York City in 2012.“During the last edit of this book President Barack Obama had just announced the expulsion of 35 Russian diplomats from the US… in response to the Russian government’s... espionage… directed at the 2016 US elections.These events and my own current ongoing divorce from my Russian-American...wife reminded me of my first trip to Russia in August of 2013 where I meet Marina’s Russian parents in Moscow for the very first time…I stepped back from their bedroom balcony overlooking the ‘Old Arbat Street’ and into their ‘Eagles Nest’ as I gradually found myself within the center ring of Moscow’s governing elite.
