Zoek je een algemene introductie van regular expressions dan is dit boek een optie. Maar er zijn websites die niet onder doen voor wat dit boek te bieden heeft en waar je bovendien al doende kunt oefenen.
In tegenstelling tot wat de flaptekst suggereert bevat het boek geen uitwerkingen in de taal van je keuze. Volgens de auteur is dat onbegonnen werk, zo blijkt uit de tekst in het boek zelf. Er is dus ook geen bijbehorende website met oefenmateriaal.
Omdat ik vooral op zoek was naar uitgewerkte voorbeelden in de taal van mijn keuze heb ik dit boek per omgaande retour gestuurd.
