This book has made a firm impact on my life. Having studied everything else Eli Goldratt has written and being a LSS BB, this book made the definite bridge between professional and personal!
I actually made my girlfriend read this book and will order more to give to people. I think it's even more important for people to read than Eli's infamous "The Goal".
Although it's a very rational book, it does open the door to solving emotional issues between people. After this book I started studying Executive Coaching and Mediation.
This book emphasises on the rational approach to communicate on a high level of cognition. It doesn't go into emphatically approaching conflict. There are other books for this kind of approach. It's refreshing for psychology knowledgeable people and a kick start for people who want to gain more from their life and be less busy with fire fighting and conflicts. The 4 obstacles can truly be transformed to the 4 pillars that shape your life. -
