A man and a woman fall in love with each other, often mysteriously. Real love is a mysterious phenomenon indeed. Sometimes we don’t clearly understand why we feel such a magnetic pull towards one particular individual, emotionally and physically. We can not feel good for a long time without seeing each other, without touching each other. We crave for each other’s presence, smell, and touch. We become addicted to each other, crazy for each other. We love, we make love; we satisfy each other physically and psychologically, consciously and subconsciously, in every possible way. But again, we sometimes fall out of love for some reasons. But the separation is the part of our love too, it reminds us the depth-ness of love we had been before; we may or may not come back to each other again, but the time we spent in deep love put a significant mark on our lives.In this book, Zakir Hossain’s beautiful poems take us through many stages of a man-woman love affair, many colours of it.
