John Prados
Dr. John Prados is a senior research fellow on national security affairs, including foreign affairs, intelligence, and military subjects, at the National Security Archive. He also directs the Archive’s Iraq Documentation Project, as well as its Vietnam Project. He holds a PhD in International Relations from Columbia University. His books
Vietnam: The History of an Unwinnable War, 1945–1975,

Combined Fleet Decoded were each nominated for the Pulitzer Prize. He has published articles with

William E Colby was one of the most enigmatic figures of the Cold War and a central player in the operations of the Central Intelligence Agency. This title tracks Colby's life and career from early years in the OSS to his tumultuous tenure as Director of Central Intelligence in the 1970s. It also offers a history of the inner workings of the CIA.
