Simon is "the" founder of Organization Theory which is explained as a part of Business Administration. Although this book is wirtten in an old-style (which made it for me as a young person less enjoyable to read) it is absolutly a must have for everyone involved with desicion-making. Besides decision-making he is known for his concept of bounded rationality wherein he explains that the world is to complex for humans to handle everything and that we therefore need institutions to reduce them or we can satisfy instead of maximize. In the beginning I didn't not really see the essence of reading this book for one of my courses at the university, but now in business life I found it is really helpfull in understanding how organizations behave throughout the whole hierarchy from high-end to low-end managers. Despite the difficulty of reading this book I would highly recommand it to every student or managers involved with Organization Theory or decision-making.
