My Dad and I learned about caregiving when we took care of my Mother as she progressed through each stage of ALS. I kept a journal of each situation and phase that she went through and wrote my first book, "A Beautiful Smile" within a year of her death. This second book, "A Caregivers Guide & Journal" will guide you through the day to day needs of a patient with ALS, as well as the caregiver's feeling and needs. How to care for yourself.My wish is that you will learn about the disease and that the information will help you care for the one you love, and help you understand what you will go through as a caregiver.
