About the author
Steve Batchelor is a lecturer in Classics at Richmond College and has been teaching ancient history for 10 years. He has written reviews for various publications, including History Today, and he has also been involved in running guided historical tours of Greece.

Erg volledige, maar zeer leesbare beschrijving van de Griekse oudheid. Elk hoofdstuk kan afzonderlijk worden gelezen. Er komen geen Griekse lettertekens in voor, dus voor iedereen te lezen. Zeer geschikt voor iemand zonder gymnasiale achtergrond om de Griekse oudheid in één keer te leren kennen.
