Chemical Constituents of Euphorbia Guyoniana Isolation, Detection and Structure Elucidation

In recent years, the world has seen an increasing interest in the study of medicinal plants as crude source for cure and physiotherapy of numerous diseases. In this book, it came in the first place, the separation and purification of the compounds and elucidating their chemical and stereochemical compositions. Also, studying of these plants, will emphasis the relation between the chemical constituents and the medicinal uses and discovering the natural of compounds responsible for that medical effect. Industrially, the Egyptian medical market included a very limited number of Egyptian drugs formed either from extracts of herbal medical plants (such as Mepaco herbs for kidney), or from isolated compounds of plant source (such as Daflon and Silymarin). This is in contrast with European markets. There is an important technique to use the extracts of the plants as (Euphorbia guyoniana). It has been reported that the majority of synthetic drugs have side effects. These compounds were used as natural source of drugs instead of the synthetic drugs.
