Ongeacht hoe makkelijk een cursus moeilijke informatie uitlegt, het blijft moeilijk. Waarschijnlijk wordt dit boek enkel gekocht door studenten, voor wie deze review niet uitmaakt. Maar voor diegene; Basis-concepten worden duidelijk (en vooral) met afbeeldingen. De tekst is *zo eenvoudig* mogelijk gehouden en erg toegankelijk. De technische details zijn met momenten erg diepgaand, maar het eerste hoofdstuk biedt inzichten in gebruikte technieken (fMRI, PET enz.)
