    Allereerst, vind je dino's leuk en kijk je graag naar mooie illustraties van deze dieren, dan is dit boek waarschijnlijk niet voor jouw bestemd (alhoewel er her en der zeker wel mooie illustraties te vinden zal zijn, maar deze zijn gering).

    Dit gigantische boekwerk is namelijk gevuld met scripties van experts welke elk vertellen over hun tak van sport binnen hun vakgebied in de wereld van paleontologie en dinosauriërs. Dit kan zijn biologie, geologie, paleontologie, preparateurs, etc. etc.. Dit is een boek geschreven door meerdere wetenschappers voor wetenschappers (en geïnteresseerden).

    Wil je meer over dinosauriërs leren (wellicht wil je zelf paleontoloog worden) dan is dit boek zeker een aanrader. Je zult er veel van opsteken, maar voor de meeste leken zal dit boek te ingewikkeld en simpelweg te wetenschappelijk zijn. Omdat er meerdere auteurs aan dit boek hebben gewerkt zullen sommige hoofdstukken meer aan spreken dan anderen.

    Persoonlijk vind ik het een interresant boekwerk (vanwege mijn interesse in dit gebied), maar weet ook dat het niet iedereen zal aanspreken.
