Voor iedereen die geïnteresseerd is in cultuur als sociaal verschijnsel, over de opkomst en ondergang van culturele fenomenen, Tot nu toe zijn de sociale wetenschappen en inzichten uit de evolutietheorie weinig gecombineerd. En dat terwijl evolutietheorie veel toe kan voegen en vaak naadloos past in bestaande theorieën over sociale processen.
