Een zeer ingrijpend boek. Laat eens te meer zien hoe ongelofelijk blij wij moeten zijn met de vrijheid die wij in het westen kunnen hebben.
En het laat zien dat 1 persoon niet een druppel op een gloeiende plaat hoefde te zijn maar een vloedgolf kan veroorzaken.
Door het lezen van dit boek word je nederig en voed de bewondering voor dit jonge meisje. Zij verdient een lang leven om haar taak als vrouwen activist tot een succes te laten worden. Wat Mandela was voor Apartheid is Malala voor de rechten van vrouwen.

I highly recommend this book, the reading flows good, the writting is great and history of Malala for sure will be a source of inspiration for the new generation! I loved the fact that it brings an insight throughout the muslim culture and how they have nothing to do with the Taliban. Also it shows through another perspective how was the civil war in Swat Valley against the terrorism and how inocents dyed while US army tried to capture Osama Bin Laden, who was hidden in the valley mountains.

Mooi om over dit meisje te lezen. Hoewel haar vader wel een uitzondering is onder Pakistaanse mannen. Ebook moeilijk te lezen anders zou ik hogere waardering gegeven hebben.
