Het is een bijzonder volledig werk met zeer gedetailleerde kleurentekeningen. Ik gebruik het boek voor mijn studie tuin- en landschapsinrichting. Mochten mensen net als ik achterdochtig worden van het prijsverschil met de originele Duitstalige uitgave (Gehölzbestimmung im Winter: mit Knospen und Zweigen), wees gerust dit is geen uitgeklede variant. Het is echt een vertaling van het origineel.
