Christopher Golden is een Amerikaanse auteur van horror, fantasy en thrillers voor zowel volwassenen als jongeren. Hij schreef ook stripboeken en maakte videogames, en was onderdeel van het team van scenarioschrijvers voor de film Hellboy. Tijdens zijn schrijverscarrière heeft hij al meerdere prijzen in de wacht gesleept. Christopher werd geboren in Massachusetts, ging daar naar Tufts University en woont er nog altijd met zijn gezin.
