Contributors to Tales from Nowhere include well-known travel writers (Simon Winchester, Pico Iyer...) as well as Lonely Planet guidebook authors, and on top of that, a number of recognised adventurers from all over the world. This inspirational armchair guide is designed to foster a spirit of exploration and travel. With such an eclectic mix of writers, the stories are personal, cover the globe and give a sense of adventure in all its facets, from the calm introspection found in a hidden natural place, to the spiritual overhaul that an extreme event can bring about.
