Het meest bekend zijn de Vrije-Schoolpedagogie, de antroposofische geneeskunde en de biologisch-dynamische landbouw. Maar ook daarbuiten voelen mensen van allerlei beroepsrichtingen zich geïnspireerd door Steiners ideeën. Architecten en kunstenaars, wetenschapsbeoefenaars en mensen die in het bedrijfsleven actief zijn, laten hun werk door de antroposofie bevruchten. De bron waar deze inspirerende werking van uitgaat is te vinden in Steiners boeken en voordrachten.
