Wilfried de Jong (1957) is schrijver, theatermaker en presentator. In 2000 debuteerde hij met de verhalenbundel Aal, daarna volgden De linkerbil van Bettini, De man en zijn fiets, Kop in de wind (Sportboek van het Jaar 2013) en Zweefduik. In 2020 verscheen de succesvolle bundeling De man en zijn wielerverhalen. Onlangs vierde hij de literatuur in het geliefde tv-programma Brommer op zee.
