Ik vind dit een fascinerend boek waarin vader en zoon elkaar proberen te naderen. Ik ben een oude moeder en ben het vaak eens met de vader als hij het idealisme van zijn zoon probeert te temperen vooral als de zoon een beetje gaat drammen.
Het geeft zeker een inzicht in Westerse en Oosterse filosofie en hoeveel overeenkomsten er zijn. Ik ben niet klassiek geschoold en kan toch het hele verhaal goed volgen.
Behalve de discussie over de verschillende filosofieën vind ik de liefdevolle manier waarop de vader en de zoon elkaar proberen te begrijpen, ontroerend.Vond je dit een nuttige review?30 -
