    Geschreven bij Mountain Of Silence

    Prachtige verhalen en ervaringen van de Athos monnik Maximos. Vooral de gesprekken met hem zijn heel boeiend en inspirerend. Vanuit de schrijver goed gedaan en opgetekend. Enige minpunt is eigenlijk zijn academische (lees rationale/sceptische/intellectuele) achtergrond die er doorheen sijpelt her en der. Vooral het einde van het boek is daardoor wat minder krachtig en waardevol in mijn optiek. Nog steeds een aanrader vanwege de wonderlijke ervaringen en rijke inzichten van Vader Maximos, met veel humor verteld.
