Physical disabilities, agoraphobia and crippling PTSD drove him to the brink of suicide. And that's when he met Tuesday. UNTIL TUESDAY entwines Luis' story of courage and bravery with that of his trusted dog, Tuesday, and shows how a brave soldier who fought tirelessly for his country, found a way back from the devastation of being injured in action, with the help of his canine friend.

    I'm Dutch and live in The Netherlands so I hope my English is well enough to give a review. This is a book that will become (be) a bestseller all over the world. Maybe you only will read this book because you saw the gorgeous picture of Tuesday but whatever the reason is, it will change your life forever. Tuesday and Luis crawl under your skin and won't let go. Hope to see this book translated in as many languages as possible. So people who don't read English will understand what I mean by reading this book. Love it ! This is a book that is a gift you will share and you need to share as a gift. This book already hit the NY Times bestseller list and just came out in the beginning of may. I'm sure it will become a movie as well. But the book is here to order.

    Een zeer inspiterend boek, leuk en meeslepend geschreven. Een boek dat iedereen zou moeten lezen, het verreikt je kijk op het leven en begrijpen en omgaan met een trauma.
    Een bijzonder boek over leven en vriendschap , échte 'helende' vriendschap met deze zo bijzondere en geweldige hond. Een absolute aanrader!

    I don't often read these kinds of books but something about this story drew me in after reading about Luis Carlos Montalvan and his service dog Tuesday in the news. This book has it all. There's the drama of Luis' experiences in Iraq and the political insights about what was really going on over there. But the crux of the book is of course an incredibly inspiring and heart-warming story of a man's struggle against his illness of post-traumatic stress disorder and the amazing role that the love and devotion of Tuesday played in saving this man's life. You will laugh, you will cry from both joy and sadness, you will feel uplifted and inspired and you will learn an incredible amount about service dogs, about the silent disease that PTSD is and about the heights of courage and love that we humans (and our best friend the dog) can be capable of.
