When fourteen-year-old Sidney’s family moved from San Diego to the po-dunk town of Lost Trail, located in the western mountains of Montana, she thought culture shock was going to be the biggest hurdle. Turns out, life was about to become a lot more difficult than she could have ever imagined.Too bad for Sidney though, coming from California is not a good thing. The students as well as teachers, and townspeople are not very welcoming; in fact they go out of their way to make life difficult for Sidney. She faces many challenges and trials, but has hope when a new boy comes to town and has feelings for her. Unfortunately his feelings turn dangerous and change the direction of Sidney's life forever. She thought the kids were cruel before, but now she has entered a whole new level of maliciousness.
