Boek was voorzien voor 15 oktober maar tot onze verrassing zaterdag 7 oktober gevonden in onze brievenbus. De kartonnen envelop was deel opengescheurd en de boek zal er los in, niet eens omwikkeld in een te grote envelop. Gevolg diverse inkepingen aan buitenkant boek waardoor deze niet echt nieuw lijkt. Binnenkant wel ok en vermits dit boek een belangrijk lesboek is, gaan we deze niet meer retourneren maar we denken niet nog zulke boeken via deze weg aan te schaffen. Een kleine moeite van beter in te pakken was voldoende geweest, jammer!

Deze geschiedenis van het Nabije Oosten is informatief en vlot geschreven. Een zeer verzorgde uitgave. Een minpunt is de kwaliteit van het beeldmateriaal - nogal klein en in zwart-wit uitgevoerd.
