Niet nadenken .. gewoon kopen . Iedereen zou dit boek in zijn boekenkast moeten hebben. Alle traditionele vaardigheden staan erin van blokhutten bouwen, touw maken, kaas maken tot kleding maken, tuinieren en vee houden. Er staan tevens ook nog een aantal survival/ outdoor technieken in. Dit boek is absoluut geen miskoop. Als ooit er een ramp komt of het nou een watersnood ramp is of economische meltdown, als alle winkels leeg staant, dan ben je denk ik enorm blij dat je een boek hebt waar alle fundementele vaardigheden in staan.

Enige nadeel is dat sommige onderdelen wel kort zijn zoals het houden van honingbijen, maar dat is ook een erg uitgebreid onderwerp. Als je dit boek openklapt besef je dat mensen die 200 jaar geleden leefden( en daarvoor ) bestwel slim en creatief zijn.
