Na het lezen van dit boek moet ik toegeven dat het één van de beste theoretische boeken over het onderwerp is wat ik ben tegen gekomen. Het beschrijft de Lambda Architectuur een soort ISO model voor Big Data waarbij hetzelfde geld als het ISO model, de praktijk wijkt iets af van het ideale model. Bij de beschrijving van het model gaat de schrijver ook in op tools zoals Hadoop, Cassandra, Storm en andere tools en kan men het boek en de software (source code van de voorbeelden SuperWebAnalytics.com) ook downloaden. Als men het boek gaat lezen is het wel verstandig om iets van databases en java af te weten anders denk ik dat je het boek niet kan begrijpen.
