Flavors of Faith

In this confession of a recovering fundamentalist, the author shares many of the life lessons that helped him move from a legalistic understanding of faith to an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ. This required honest evaluation of the many flavors of belief that get mixed into one's faith and worldview. Every Christian needs to sift through those many flavors and discard the bad bits that distort our image of God so that we can discover a more intimate and powerful faith in Jesus Christ. Ultimately, becoming a Christian means getting to know God as our loving father who wants the best for us. The author's hope is that sharing these hard learned lessons in a devotional style of book will help others avoid many of the traps that prevent the grow of our faith.
